What age, weight, and height is BubaBoost designed for?

BubaBoost is for children ages 5 to 8 who weigh up to 80kg (176 lbs) and are up to 140 cm (55 inches) tall. As with any booster seat, your child should be able to sit maturely with the seatbelt properly positioned across their lap and shoulder.

How does the AirLift™ technology work, and do I need a pump?

No pump needed! Our AirLift™ system features a high-airflow valve that lets you inflate the seat in about 20 to 30 seconds with just 3 to 5 quick breaths. When you’re done, simply pop open the release valve to deflate it flat instantly.

What if the seat gets punctured or loses air while driving?

BubaBoost is engineered with an ultra-durable, multi-layer inner bladder. Even if the air core were ever compromised, the memory-foam base and surrounding structure retain enough integrity to keep the belt positioned correctly until you reach your destination.

Can I use BubaBoost on an airplane seat?

Boosters (including rigid ones) require a lap-and-shoulder belt to function, whereas airplane seats only have lap belts. Because of FAA regulations, no booster seat can be used during a flight. However, BubaBoost’s main perk for air travel is that it deflates into a 15 oz (430g) pouch that fits right into your carry-on or backpack, so you have it ready the second you land for your rental car or taxi!

How do the side-support bolsters help my child during long rides?

Standard flat travel boosters don’t offer lateral support, meaning sleeping kids often slump sideways and pull the seatbelt into an unsafe position over their neck or stomach. Our raised side-support bolsters keep your child centered, upright, and comfortable, especially during sharp turns and long naps.

How do I clean and care for the BubaBoost?

The outer cover is made from breathable, stain-resistant 3D sandwich mesh. You can easily wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap for quick spills, or unzip the cover to hand-wash or machine-wash on a gentle cycle. Air dry only.

Does the seat slide around on smooth car seats?

Not at all. BubaBoost features a textured, non-slip base grip engineered to hold firm against leather, vinyl, and cloth seats. Once your child is buckled in, the seat remains stable and securely anchored throughout your drive.
